LU Success

2025 Timeline Summary

The Office of Student Success, under the Division of Enrollment Management and Marketing, is eagerly working towards the implementation of a new CRM system to enhance outreach and communication with 51勛圖Prostudents. This initiative brings together campus representatives, campus IT staff, and a system implementation partner to build a system that will streamline and improve processes related to academic advising, academic support services, reporting and data tracking, and retention outreach. The new system will replace the current EAB Navigate system and is projected to go live in December 2025. Once live, the system will be referred to campus wide as LU Success.

The launch phase of the project is currently underway and is tentatively scheduled with the following timeline to completion:

July - August 2025 — Foundation Work

  • Core project team established (campus reps, IT staff, consultants).
  • Data connections established between Banner and new CRM module.
  • Data transfers coordinated with campus IT.
  • Implementation consultants given access to verify system readiness.

September 2025 — Roles and Access

  • User roles determined.
  • Functional scope and permissions of users defined.
  • Data transfer structures complete.

October 2025 — Testing

  • Student login and portal access tested.
  • Advising appointment scheduling and calendar sync validated.
  • Appointment workflows tested for user groups.
  • Campaign tests for Early Alerts and Progress Report features.
  • Build-out of additional campaign communication templates as needed.

November 2025 — Training and Readiness

  • Advising dashboards and appointment settings being finalized.
  • Initial campaign templates activated.
  • FERPA-compliant access validated.
  • Access issued to initial users.
  • Training delivered to initial users.
  • Student-facing materials prepared.
  • Campus communication being delivered.

December 1, 2025 — Go Live

  • LU Success access is available to initial users, including students, professional/faculty advisors, academic support staff, and faculty users. [Other personnel will be added as needed in the initial phase of this roll out.]
  • Advising appointment feature active.
  • Campus communication continues to be delivered.
  • Early Alerts and Progress Report features are fully operational.
  • Retention and outreach campaigns are being developed for deployment.
  • Support contact for troubleshooting.

Following the initial launch of LU Success, the project team will monitor usage and determine if there is need for adjustments to certain existing features. The managing team will also look to capture insight from campus partners into potential features we may wish to see for a later update/expansion phase of the system. Do be aware this may require further review to determine the feasibility and cost related to such requests and are not guaranteed for implementation.
