Class Descriptions

*Classes vary per semester.

Belly Dancing: Learn the fundamentals of posture, isolations, steps, shimmies and accents of belly dance. You'll walk away with an elegant choreography at the end of the semester!

Calming Yoga is a gentle style of yoga designed to reduce stress, relax the nervous system, and improve flexibility rather than provide an intense workout. The focus is on slow movements, mindful breathing, and holding comfortable poses for longer periods of time.

Cardio Kickboxing is a fun, action-packed workout that combines martial arts, boxing, and dance moves. You get a challenging cardiovascular and full-body workout as you kick, punch, block, and move.

Indoor Cycling is a high-energy class for all levels with great music and motivating instructors! Ride a varied mixture of flats, hills, & sprints on stationary bikes while burning calories all the way!

Meditation is a practice that trains your attention and awareness to help calm the mind, reduce stress, and improve overall well-being. Unlike yoga, meditation doesn't require physical movement—you can do it while sitting, standing, lying down, or even walking.

Red Zone Circuit Training provides a fun and unlimited crosstraining, strength, and functional group workout that can be adjusted to your fitness level, making it perfect for everyone from fitness beginners to athletes.

Sound Bath Meditation is a passive, immersive experience where participants lie down and let waves of sound and vibration wash over them. Instruments like singing bowls, gongs, and chimes create ambient, non-rhythmic tones designed to quiet the mind, reduce stress, and induce deep relaxation.

Total Toning uses complex movements that utilize multiple muscle groups at one time, making a very highly effective and timely workout. This class will help increase your muscular endurance, strength, flexibility, and cardiovascular endurance.

Trampo-Lean uses a trampoline for a fun-filled low-impact exercise class.  It helps build and improve your strength, agility, and stability.

Zumba features high-energy dance steps set to fast-paced Latin and international beats. It’s easy to do, effective and totally exhilarating, and often builds a deep-rooted community among returning students.
