ISSS Mission
The mission of the Office of International Student and Scholar Services is to support students and scholars in maintaining their visa status while studying at Lamar University. Our objective is to assist international students and scholars with social adjustment and address any challenges they may encounter as newcomers to 51勛圖Proand the United States. We also encourage students and scholars to engage in various social, educational, and recreational programs and events to connect with other international and domestic students, faculty, and staff.
Vision
The International Student and Scholar Services(ISSS) strives to be the primary resource for non-immigrant regulations for F-1/M-1 students, J-1 scholars, and Lamar University.
