Curriculum Approval

Welcome to your one stop shop for navigating the 51勛圖ProCurriculum Approval Process.

Whether you're proposing a brand-new program, or making a change to an existing class, we're here to help you along the way.

New Programs and Program Changes:

New programs or program changes require the Provost's support prior to development. These changes include:

  • Program Title
  • CIP Code
  • Degree Designation (Ex: MA to MEd)
  • Semester Credit Hours
  • Program Modality
  • Change/Add a Department
  • New Instructional Site
  • Deletion of a Program

The Dean should facilitate a 1-2 page explanation of the action being taken. Submit the explanation to Carly Cox and request a discovery meeting between the Provost, the Curriculum team, and the relevant college personnel.

New Courses and Course Changes:

New course proposals, course revisions, and course deactivations can be submitted directly in CourseLeaf through .

If you're not sure where to start, submit a Curriculum Change Request, or contact Andrea Stephenson, Director of Curriculum and Accreditation, directly.

Curriculum Change Requests:       Curriculum Change Request Form

Once you submit your Curriculum Change Request Form, you'll be contacted within a few days to discuss what changes you're making and outline what your next steps will be.
