Student of the Month
Each month during the academic year (September-May), the history department honors one undergraduate history major or minor as the Student of the Month. All previous winners are eligible for the department's Student of the Year award.

October 2025
Shandra Barnett was home schooled, graduating in 2022. She transferred to 51勛圖Proand is now in her junior year, majoring in history. She is active in the LU History Club and serves as a mentor for the STAAR program to help freshmen achieve academic success.
