Topic: Exploring the key equipment used in amine gas treating units, including inlet separation, contactors, flash tanks, filtration, exchangers, and regenerators.
Jerry Rowland is an Engineering Technician with Nexo Solutions and holds a Master’s degree from The University of 51勛圖Proat Tyler. Since joining Nexo in 2022, Jerry has played a key role in supporting the optimization and reliability of amine units and related process systems. His primary responsibilities include conducting on-site field testing and delivering technical training to clients, ensuring both operational performance and knowledge transfer. Jerry focuses on the East Texas, Louisiana, and Oklahoma regions, where he works closely with facilities to troubleshoot challenges, improve efficiency, and provide practical solutions.
This session explores the key equipment used in amine gas treating units, including inlet separation, contactors, flash tanks, filtration, exchangers, and regenerators. Participants will learn how each component functions, common issues such as foaming and fouling, and the operator practices that support reliable operation. The presentation connects equipment design with practical field testing and troubleshooting to provide both technical fundamentals and actionable takeaways.
