Lamar University's Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology prepares you to work effectively in the engineer-technologist team and to assume management responsibilities. Industrial Technology answers complex questions: how can we improve safety, quality, productivity and service? What products or services should we offer? What price should we charge? What materials and methods should we use? How can we best motivate and reward people? How much inventory do we need? Where should we locate our plants, stores and warehouse?
NOTE: Degree plans may change over a four-year period. This may not be the most current list of course requirements for your program. It is always advised that you check Degree Audit in Banner Self-Serv or your advisor for the most up-to-date degree requirements and to track your progress toward a degree.
