Lamar University's Bachelor of Arts in Modern Languages/Spanish with a teaching certification is for students wanting to teach Spanish in grades 7-12. This degree plan is similar to the B.A. in Modern Languages/Spanish program except that education coursework is introduced in the student's third and fourth year to prepare them to be a professional educator.
