Lamar University's Bachelor of Science in Earth Science program is committed to the practical advancement of knowledge; to serving the local, national and world community; and to the education of earth scientists. This program is offered on-campus and its coursework includes geology, oceanography, meteorology, etc. By enrolling, you'll have opportunities to work with modern technologies, software, databases and field methods. You may find employment in the energy and other resource industries, in Earth system sciences, in government agencies and in K-12 teaching.
